If you don't need them, they won't replace them.

Warranty
Hi
I haven't posted for a v.v. long time again and wasn't sure where to post this.
Recently i was having a bit of trouble getting the car to start and thought i may be in need of a new battery - my car's a 2004 with 47000kms, so i went to essendon mazda who quoted me $145 - not bad, happy with this
Anyway they checked out the battery and said i actually needed a new starter motor, new spark plugs and i would get a new battery.
Awesome the whole lot was covered under the mazda warranty and cost $0.00.
I'll see who ever is going on the Melbourne cruise this Sunday - can't wait

Quite a lot of us with older cars (i.e. pre July '04 cars) have had that upgrade done for free (i.e. under warranty).
I had it done and it made a world of difference to start-up.

My Feb 04 car still has both it's original mounts......I wouldn't sweat it if they only replace the right mount.

Personally, I'd be concerned that over time the heat might affect the right mount and lead to failure outside the warranty period. Not suggesting you would necessarily lack redress in that situation but the preventative replacement would make me rest easier on the issue.

Had a 'stopgap' service done by Brookvale Mazda yesterday (i.e. 6 months since the last one but not a 'designated' service). Kms are 26,514 atm.
As noted in the other thread, they also had to reinstall the heat insulation to correct the recall work done last year. New parts used and of course no charge for that. Was also satisfied that they gave me an explanation for why the work was necessary.
Otherwise, basic oil and filter change and check over. Locks, hinges and latches were lubed, all oil levels checked, interior and exterior lights checked, tyre (good) and brake condition checked (60% left on EBC fronts, 65% left on OEM rears), full vehicle inspection and 'road test' (for some reason this is always deemed necessary ).
As requested they put the leftover MRO in the boot together with another 5 litres for topup purposes (I'd run out at home).
Labour - 72.00
Parts
10l of MRO - 140.26
plug - 1.81
filter - 12.66
Workshop supplies and enviro levy - 18.00
Total - $269.20 incl GST.
Some will say $72.00 is a lot to change the oil and check out the car but it saves my time having to do it and builds up a solid service history on the car. I'm satisfied with Crookie atm. They are punctual, courteous and give the car a quick wash for free (not a great one but it gets rid of the worst of the dirt). They're also prepared to drive you somewhere (local) if need be but I tend to just grab the bus around the corner.

50,000km service at City Mazda in Melbourne as follows:
1Hr labour- $72
5l Mazda Rotary Oil- $70.13
Sump Plug Gasket- $1.25
Oil Filter- $12.50
W/shop Supplies & Enviro levy- $8.00
GST- $16.38
Total- $180.26
Positives: They didn't wash the car (because I asked that it not be washed).
Negatives: I asked them to fix the age old drivers seat squeak and they tightened the rotary crest in the headrest.........
I'll fix it myself tomorrow.
Cheers,
Gomez.
