RX-8 GT in Japan test video

Cough cough, I found the video from my archive and I think I like to share, before I decide to delete the upload.

This is the video of 5laps of the new car at Tsukuba. The new 8 Type RS lap the same time as the Type S.

Tsuchiya said the new 8 feel the same in terms of power. But you can see he shift to 3rd before 100kmh. I am sure he likes the Bilstein in the RS (GT).

My car is **** man! Haha. I think the new set up is as good if not better than any mod there is.

They still complain of the oversteer you have when you brake. Well even I have the brake mod. This still present in my car. Very funny. It is controllable oversteer though. It is like the characteristic is inherited. Like the understeer in the STis.

Tsuchiya have driven lots of modded RX-8s btw. They are far superior than any of our cars. The track a fully prep Fujita car... and he was so impressed with the suspension that he wants to sell it in his shop. BTW I think that suspension is HKS based.
