EZZY, Yes! Get one, and give it a frikin' nose job, FFS. Well, the issue of insurance relates more to age, driving record and location than car type.
Still, the real test is going to be whether anyone (MA included) is prepared to bring a fully warrantied package to market, so that the whole deal can be financed and insured

My car has only a few months left on warranty , so it does'nt affect me too much
In terms of the Kits warranty , all parts minus the turbocharger itself is covered as I cant cover for driver abuse or overboosting . This variable is out of my control.However every other part has an unconditional 12 mth warranty against manufacture defects .
By the way , the Greddy kit has no warranty whatsoever .

Ciao kit has no warranty on the turbo..only on the intercooler and some pipes..(lol).............i have paid my deposit, for the RM SC kit..
.....will be fitted in a few weeks............there are 5 guys ahead of me............i belive there is only 4 kits left for now...............the RM kit has a full 12 month warranty on all components.. the supercharger and the ECU.. lets not forget the intercooler and pipes (lol)......

. What about all the electronics , BOV ,all hoses and high pressure lines. No one in thier right mind will warrant against driver abuse / and overboosting . My software will be accessable from the net to be used in each and every application . If I offered a kit that gave no scope for user manipulation,I would surely offer a warranty on the turbo .
How boring would that be !!What if a customer wanted water / or methanol injection and did'nt have the fascility to re-tune the Computor ..... Hmmmm
My kit will offer more usable low end power and much more torque at lower revs than RMs for a fraction of the cost , backed by the same people that made the infamous Mazda Australia turbo concept that enjoyed all the accolades and praises from "Wheels Magazine ".
I also have'nt had the issues some people are having with overheating etc.etc .The car runs like a dream and didnt cost me $45,000 of Dyno time as ( you said ) ROtor Masters did
.... That to me sounds sus ..all that money and they got overheating issues .I was'nt at the nats but from what TAKA has said .

I do think Taka has a point and understand he has a lot of track experience under his belt.
I find it hard to think one would hand over 13k on a kit that had some issues at the NAT'S.
I think the kit itself looks pretty good but just needs more fine tuning and track time i guess.
I wouldnt be buying one untill it was 1oo%

Claim, counter-claim, rebuttal, etc, etc, etc. 
It's all getting very boring guys. I can do without a pissing contest.
Dyno figures, etc are one thing but the simple fact is that nobody has yet been running a FI set-up long enough to prove long term reliability.
Early adopters won't care about that and good luck to them but personally I find claims that something is 100% when it has only done 5,000kms are laughable. All you can really say is that so far it is working as intended with no major problems.
Don't get me wrong. That is a great achievement and good on you for having a go but lets not get carried away.
Have some patience and demonstrate in due course whether or not it is a viable long term option.

I think I would like to see a bit more than 5 or 10k testing on any FI before I commited my hard earned cash.
Would have to be around 25 to 30k at least.
You would then have a pretty good idea if its going to last the distance.
You say that yours is 100% after say 10k, I think most manufacturers would put a hell of a lot more testing into things before the claim 100%.

I tend to agree with your previous comments about sitting on the fence and wating for the right Kit that has earned itself the home under your bonnet
People should not be so eager to part with bags of money, lose their warrantee for something that does need to be tested thourouly . It may result in costing people tens of thousands .Ive pointed out on other threads what are the 8's potentially weak points ,but all in all diff , box , and drivetrain should be plenty strong enough. Time will tell .My car gets driven like its stolen
BTW...just came back from Brizzy enertainment centre .....Luciano Pavarotti was a gem .....a 70 yr old , top C soaring gem !! His voice is definitly turbo charged
