thanks guys but some things in life cannot be controlled.

hopefully the kit finds a good home, so someone else can have some fun with it.

coming off the car next week. I've already had one enquiry, so if you're interested, PM me.

Why would some one wait 3 -4 years for a product to emerge then go to all the trouble expense to finally commit to a Supercharger then go and sell car and said Supercharger ?

Michael, originally, I thought the same thing, I also thought, MMmm perhaps SC does not "work" as intended, issues, etc, etc.

But it appears Dave's decision is "not because of the car or SC", that is his business.

DAVE!..Good luck, sorry to see you sell your 8 and move on, I hope resolved issues are not too painful...I just lost my dad a month or so ago, curved ***** or unexpected news can throw anyone at anytime...Cheers Dave.

To end the speculation, I confirm it has nothing to do with the car or kit. It is no longer my second car/plaything and I need something more practical and economical.

Thanks for the good wishes guys. I have very much appreciated your company in here over the past 5 years. Good luck to you and your rotors

PS - kit has been sold, so if you were interested, too late.

Hey Kall, something very boring for kid duties, etc. Tossing up between a few of the medium SUVs - Forester, Rav, XTrail, etc. A big Hilux might be fun too...

I'll get something fun again in a year or so

For the record, I never got the chance to optimise the tune and performance from the kit because we were still working through teething problems when life overtook me.

I deliberately did not post the post-install dyno results, because these things have a habit of sticking online and being requoted, etc, etc, when I did not feel those results were indicative of the kit's real potential. After all, we were only running 5lbs of boost and the tune looked like it could do with some tweaking.

I agree there's nothing magical about it. More aggressive solutions will return bigger numbers. I didn't buy this kit for the sake of dyno results.

I think the new year will bring a few kits properly installed, sorted and tuned up. Indeed, I look forward to driving one of them at our National meet next year! I think I've earned it too!!!

Meanwhile, those awaiting numbers will either need to stay patient or stump up for one of the kits themselves and have a play...we're not here just to satisfy the curiosity of lazy bastards sitting on the fence while others take the risks.
