good for rebuilding and parts, turbo's testing, porting, hi-compression rotors, housings etc etc...

a series 6 import engine is more expensive and had 200,000kims on the clock.

All new before testing ah ah ah. If they went through durability testing, the internals might look like Dante's inferno now!
Would be nice in my office but at 3000 AUD, it's expensive for a dead lump of cast iron and alloy.

I was told (not confirmed) that Mazfix can supply them for $1200. I will retract this if proven otherwise. I have seen a few on the floor.

Mazda test engines - never been in a car. Yep, and I bet the cars that they had never been in had never been in an accident, and they had never been written off

Actually - if they are test engines I assume they ran on the dyno. So I wonder how they worked around the "safe mode" thingy???

Cheers,
Hymee.

Easy : Can be disabled by setting some calibration switches to zero. You need the proper Mazda / Denso cal tool to do so, of course...

Exactly. I always belived that to be the case. I made enquiries off mazda and they told me it was not possible.

I still believe you should be able to do it via ODBII / CAN comms.
