AU Rear License Lamp Lens Removal

OK, I am doing the replacement lamp thing

Does any one know how (exactly) to remove the two lamp lenses without cracking them.

My 09 WS Manual is next to useless on this one.

The S2 is a different lamp (only slightly), but I am sure the principal remains the same.

thanks
Ash

Use a piece of cloth over a flat screwdriver, insert it into the slot available and just pry it. It will open easily.

IF it is like the series I, it will be closer to you. Get a torch.

Tape the screw driver is better than cloth.

yeah, it was on your side, not on the body side. It is quite hard to see, and certainly hard to describe as well. But basically if you try pushing in the clothed/taped screwdriver, you should notice an area where the screwdriver can go further in compared to the rest.
