Just thought l'd let you know that there are afew members on the rx8club.com.au site proposing to have abit of a cruise (link). I've suggested the following:

Meet at Bunnings in Rockdale (click here for google maps) and travel down through the Royal National park and finish up over the sea cliff bridge into wollongong for a BBQ or something?

This is a great run and l've down it a handful of times with a friend (owns a modified VRX magna, might actually come along). There are plently of spots to take photos too. Actually, my signature is from one of the runs.

I'd give it a few weeks after the nats though if you want to improve your numbers.

 

Yeah, it's been mentioned about holding it back after the Nats, maybe to the 30th August. Thats over fortnight after? Would depend on the interest generated for the people willing to join if we were to push it back to the 30th.

Meeting time so far is 11am, leaves plenty of time for the drive back into wollongong for lunch.

Also, since your going to the nationals, you could spread the word, drum up some interest

 

Haha, it's hard enough getting people to the Nationals...but I'll spread the word. Most though will have seen your thread and, being Sydneysiders, have already decided that they're washing their hair that day or have to work or their girlfriend won't let them or they're vacuuming the cat, ad infinitum...

Just kidding...I'm sure you'll get some people along. Just give people plenty of notice of the date because important Sydney people get booked up...

come along! Its a great way to meet other rx8 people and to enjoy your car.

 

good way to meet people with the same love for the 8 as you if you dont have fun (which you will) you can bail half way

ok people the cruze is this weekend and there is about 10 rx8 (list needs update) also some supras evos and stuff if you are on the list and changed your mind please let us know so we have an idea of who is coming thanks

I was away so couldn't come along but in my experience of organising these things a month is needed for most people to be available.

Yeah, they're definitely will be a next time.

The day was good. Unfortunately the great weather had a two pronged effect. While it was perfect for a cruise, everyone else apparently thought so. There was alot of traffic through sydney, even in the natio park.

Still good to see other RX8's and put faces to forum names.
