Best thing to do Adrian is work out who is going to pick you up and drive you for the first leg. Where they live will be the best guide.
Failing that the CBD is central to most so you can't go too far wrong if you just plump for one of the city hotels.

Thanks guys... I will use Wotif..
The new plan:
1. Advertise for a lift
2. Agree on pick up point - I WILL be wearing my NATS gear!
3. Look for Motel in that area (Wotif)
4. Go on cruise///
I am thinking of a quick shop for Miss 6.... But the CBD has a good toy store from memory..

Ahhhhhh the conference is too expensive..... thinking of pulling out.
Judging of last year - it is so useless that I rather spend my money to another track day.... thinking

I have decided to hold off from sending PM's for this Cruise, until the other cruise on the 29/1/06 has taken place. I don't want to confuse anyone and I would prefer to send them closer to the date (1month in advance), that way it gives people more of an idea if they will be able to attend and plenty of time to plan if they will (for those who have not confirmed already).

Wollongong, with a population of over 250 000, is the third-largest city in NSW and the tenth-largest in Australia. It is situated 81 km south of Sydney via the Princes Highway within a district known as the Illawarra, from an Aboriginal word, 'allowrie' or 'eloura' meaning 'white clay mountain' or 'high place near the sea' or even 'between the high place and the sea'. 'Wollongong' itself is said to be onomatopoeic, from 'Wol-Lon-Yuh', an imitation of the sound of breaking waves and ebbing surf, hence 'the sound of the sea', although 'five clouds' and 'hard ground near the water' have also been proposed. Taken together these two names reflect the fact that the region is a relatively narrow strip of land hemmed in by mountains to the west and the ocean to the east.
