New Yellow Auto

I picked it from the dealer up this arvo and have just got back from a 100km trip. I know you purists think autos are for the fairer sex, but I must say I really enjoyed changing up and down using the gear lever, the paddles on the steering wheel, and then letting the auto do its thing. I had not had the opportunity of test driving an auto (test drove a manual) so for me it was a bit of a leap of faith in the posts I read from our USA members and a couple of reviews I'd seen.
The handling is superb and the ability to keep both hands on the wheel all the time is a real bonus. The combination of rotary power and auto transmission is a winner. At least for this old bloke.

"To each their own" they say.
Good on you for getting what you prefer.
Welcome to the ownership experience and enjoy!

Did they fit the grill for you? If so, you would be the first to receive an RX-8 with a genuine Hymee Grill already fitted!

Yes - good on ya for buying what you wanted.

Cheers,
Hymee.

Hymee,
They did a good job of the grill fitment which they did for free because they'd stuffed me around with delivery dates (promised mid Jan, delivered today). The sales reps all had a good look and it sounded like you have quite a few who would recommend it to their customers.
