My RX8 Hero
Hi, I'm Michael's better half and posting this without him knowing. Actually today he is probably the better one. This morning he helped rescue a young man whose 4 wheel drive left the road and overturned into the creek totally submerged with all 4 wheels the only part of the car visible above the water line. My action man jumped into the water and with 3 other passers by managed to get the driver out by forcing open the driver's door. The local police could be nominating him for a bravery award.
Queensland channel 10 have interviewed him at the scene and the story will hopefully get to air today on the 5.00 to 6 pm news.

Its so embarassing to be called a Hero , i just did for the young bloke what i would hope others would do for me if i found myself in a similar situation .
Hes a very lucky young guy to be alive , his size that of a small skinny jockey is what may have saved him as we could only get the drivers door to open about 12 inches and we managed to pull him out , just in time .
I feel humbled by the experience of saving a persons life.

to quote the late mayor of hiroshima, "holy ****!"
then again,"wow!" probably sum's up what I really think more accurately.
I guess I'm going to have to see you in a better light now - long gone are your days of ruffling the feathers of the yakuza in my mental imagery then.
