I think I know but how to explain... I saw a diagram before about different type of shocks.

Torsion bar stabiliser though are same as sway bars aren't they? They are connected between the suspension via the endlink (they usually go at the level of the axial) and they aim to reduce torsion between left and right suspension and thus a flatter cornering feeling *(less tilt).
