Concerning the "Does anyone know xxxx whereabouts thread"

Hello friends

I have been trying to reach xxx for several months now without any success. I was hoping someone here would have his contact details and could pass it on to me or get him to contact me instead.

He goes by xxx and drives a custom painted RX-8. I'm having difficulties with him on the numbers I have on his account here at the shop (xxxx...) and his home number as well. THIS WAS THE TRIGGER...'THIS IS NO ORDINARY THREAD...'

I would appreciate any assistance in this regard and hope someone could point me in the right direction as it is quite urgent. THIS WAS THE SECOND INDICATOR...
Anthony Cascio

Good on you for closing this thread Taka - this bloke "Anthony Cascio" knew very well his post would divulge private and confidential infomation over the internet. My votes in to ban "prestigeautoparts"....who are they are going to to do it to next....?

Well for once he is defaming the person involve - even the fact are true, this is not the place for it.

I can ban him in the name of spam.

But I decided to spank him with public disgrace for 24 hours before I delete it.

Feeling nervous, are we? Got a few unpaid debts?

Good luck to the guy, I hope he gets his money back. I see no problem with the thread myself, but I hold a strong sense of justice.

You have got to be kidding me Gomez. Theres a time and a place for everything.

I hold a strong sense of justice too, but the bottom line is he crossed the line...how would you feel if it were you...?

I was watching this, and wondered what people's reactions would be.

There's obviously two sides to this, but I'm not sure it's all that relevant to a car forum.

However, if you've ever had your own business and had a problem collecting, you will probably understand what motivated the OP. At least he wasn't devious. I wonder how people might have responded if he'd indicated he wanted to share a windfall!!

As for defamation, taka? No, I don't think so -- not so far, anyway. Worse that that has been allowed.

What else is new?

Let's put the shoe on the other foot.

If Anthony Cascio owed you a wad of cash, would you try anything you (legally) could to track him down?

There may be two sides to this story, but compromising ones privacy is a serious issue.

Trade secrets and other confidential information can pose legal problems, particulary when companies are creating huge databases full of private information. Given the complexity of internet privacy, many people do not understand the issues or the risks.

Whilst some people wish to shield their identities, others participate in frank discussions. Others even fullfil their fantasies and harmlessly 'role play' under the cover of a false identity.

But there are unethical people (and criminals) using the Internet, and it is these people who use anonymous servers and secret identities to avoid responsibility for posting controversial remarks .

We don't know the truth in this scenario, and we shouldn't have been exposed to it in the first place. We are all too aware that harassment and abuse is becoming increasingly frequent on the internet, including those who may have an agenda ...

As per my previous post...."We don't know the truth in this scenario, and we shouldn't have been exposed to it in the first place. We are all too aware that harassment and abuse is becoming increasingly frequent on the internet, including those who may have an agenda ... "

The bottom line is there is always two sides to a story....

We know that one guy is chasing another guy for money.

The guy doing the chasing is chasing the other in a legal manner. There is no argument about that.

End of conversation.

Ever thought of the possibility that he didn't deliver the goods as agreed and they are in disagreement. Ezzy may think he doesn't owe anything but this guy thinks he does?

just food for thought..

I've refused to pay an internet bill once because I thought that the ISP's billing was incorrect.. it took over a year to get things sorted out, but the ISP never went onto a forum to chase me for the money..
In the end I was correct of course.. Just trying to make the point that there is always two sides of a story.

+1

Why not just look in the whitepages if you really need to get in touch though? This whole thing doesn't make sense!!!

End of the day, we don't give a rats about who owes who money ... go call someone who cares!
