I had box seats at the ***'s Plate yesterday, and i backed the winner in race 8. I rule, and i'm rich. Stayed at the RACV, nice place.

One of the guys asked if i liked spearmint. thought they were talking about chewing gum... That was an eye opener!

Anyway, that was my fun weekend in melbourne. Learn't something new... it's not always cold and raining down there LOL

Please excuse this Yank from butting-in, but isn't a female peacock properly termed a "pea-hen"? (and what do peacock chicks look like?)

BTW, every once in a while I get the wild thought of retiring to Australia when the time comes in a few years...would me and the Mrs. be welcome Down Under?

Lads and ladies, is there any way to get to the admin at RX8club.com.au?
I've registered there but I've not received the OK from admin for over 3 weeks.

Hey there JD here truckin' buddy!

Yup Dave got me a free hat and a tank a gas with the mower!! Only problem is it's got a switch in the seat if you stand up while it's going it switches off thinking the driver has fallen off!! It seems I'm not heavy enough to keep that switch from thinking I have fallen off!!! Dealer thinks it's faulty...I said he had just insulted me!! LOL Anyway I love it. I mow every opportunity I get. That blade of grass looks too long.....brrrmmm gone!! It's gone throgh waist high grass with Bruce's blessing. I was worried about the belt..but his words were if it breaks I'll fix it! Me been having some fun!

Hey Missy I like your Dad's toys very much, a friend of mine has a gator as well. They are great little things....we have had some amphibious adventures in hers....very cool. I am getting a souped up golf buggy with a ute tray.....should be good. Have a tipper trailer for the ride on now courtesy of Bruce's boss. I am on the hunt for a Peacemaker Chipper Shredder now!! Sounds like a gun huh but it's going to make lovely mulch out of the tree branches I have cut down!

Hope all is well with you guys. We can hear peacocks but can't see them. Nice noise......

Ciao' for now amigos from the farm girl!

Saw Arj Barker last night.

Comedy is a subjective thing but I highly recommend you catch him while he's still out here. My cheeks are still sore...
