I think I have to fess up to be fair to Bruce. I framed my observations by saying he might get lucky more often if he had a bod like that!!! So there you have it....he sooked for two days but I can't blame him. I regretted it as soon as I said it and quickly apologised and said that it was not a nice thing to say. However the damage was done and I had to grovel for 2 days...then I just got angry and told him to get over it. I had apologised and what more could I do......

I'm happy with the way I look, I go to bootcamp and am warding off middle age spread...he on the other hand is starting to slip......I was trying to fire him up....seems I managed to do the opposite!!

 

Well ... I kinda agree with Ez, I reckon you should recite comments in the mirror first before you say them as well! Makes for a more ... lasting effect once one's practised their comments first don't ya think?

I tried all manner of things let me tell you!!! I have a sneaking suspicion that's why the sooking took so long to get over!!!

 

Speaking of toys, have been having mucho fun with the male mini-terrorist's Chrissy haul.

He got one of those double shot cars that you fill with water and pump up - loads of laughs watching it crap water as it takes off for the vertical jump.

'Er indoors' Dad got him an RC UFO that is propelled by a little fan and lights up. Awesome at night to frighten **** out of the neighbours. However, the charge only lasts about 15 minutes.

The best bit though was that the slot car set my brother and I bought years ago to while away a rainy weekend was unearthed at his place and delivered to Chez Revolver. We bought extra sections of track at the time (including a few special bits) and I had forgotten how big it is. The spare room is currently dominated by metres of minature blacktop and the sounds of childish cries of triumph and delight (and you should hear the mini-terrorist ).

 

Ahh, he's cleverer than he looks.
