Although I like some of her music and find the latest single very funny, I must admit that I had placed Pink into the skank basket too. The Lady Marmalade video didn't do her any favours.

However, I saw her on Denton's show the other night and was most impressed by the interview she gave. A smart, funny, intelligent woman who has survived a tough childhood with integrity intact. We could do worse than trade in all the Britney's and Paris' for more like her.

(BTW, it was also a good advertisement for a real interview instead of the crap that gets dished out in the gossip and music mags each week/month).

Here here bravo...yup I saw the same interview and was really impressed. I have always liked Pink, she struck a cord with her first album and although I didn't buy it I liked listening when I heard it on the radio. Since seeing the interview I have bought her latest CD. Which I might say is really good.....there is a song on there for TT..called Caz I can.....very me I think.....but there are also songs which show and explain her pain as a young child....her running away which she spoke of in the interview and various other songs which really define her...OK end of my record pushing...but as a woman who is upwardly mobile, financially secure and independant and assertive I find her right on the money!!!

His guests can be patchy but he's fantastic at getting people to open up about things they don't usually talk about. His ability to cross-examine without notes indicates a level of preparation that makes Parky, Ray, et al look like schoolboys.

Phew! On another note have been busier than a Baghdad streetsweeper the last few days. Have got through a mountain of evil. Somebody's days are numbered.

My last CD purchase was ACDC's Back in Black. I'm gradually replacing my back catalogue with CD's.

Great driving music. Always seem to speed when I have it on though.

I've bought 'er indoors a new house and promised I wouldn't work or sail on Sunday. She's happy enough.

Get your kids to make her something. Always goes down well.

You are kidding me . I thought that was everyone's first CD purchase! I paid $27 Singapore dollars for mine in 1986!!

Nothing tests speaker bass response like AC/DC....

You simply MUST be an accountant with recall like that!

No - I had it on vinyl and on cassette and simply flogged them to death. Only thought about replacing it recently.

I was always more an Angels fan anyway. Their Liveline double CD made its way into my collection long ago.

I've also gotten soft as I've got older. Find myself playing stuff like Cruel Sea and Cat Empire these days.

Love to come, but I'll be either cheering the Tigers to victory at the Dome......or caulking gaps with the painter at home!!! If the Mazda is in my driveway, you'll know I chose practicality over pleasure...
