Steven Spielberg's answer to The Passion

Guys

Heard this on the grapevine, very interesting.

Spielberg's answer to Gibson

I have just received the following E-mail . If this is true - and I pray it is,
then it has certainly cheered me up no end.... fighting fire with fire is the only way
to deal with that bugger Gibson.

Spielberg's answer to Gibson's Passion: In filming 'The Crusades', Hollywood Mega-hit
Producer and Director Steven Spielberg has decided to fight fire with fire.
He's announced that since Mel Gibson is fuelling the fires of anti-Semitism in the world with his
movie about the last hours of Christ, Spielberg will make a graphic movie about the Crusades.
"In order to get Jews and Moslems to convert to Christianity," Spielberg commented, "Christians
went through Europe and into the Middle East forcing conversions on non-believers.
Along the way they raped, beat, bludgeoned, maimed, tortured and killed hundreds of thousands
of innocent men, women and children. I will show Christian brutality in a realistic and most
graphic and gory way." Spielberg went on to add that the movie will have a well-deserved
anti-Christian tone. "Lets face it, Gibson wants to blame the Jews for the death of one person
we didn't even kill. I will show the inhuman brutality of thousands of Christians against hundreds
of thousands of people of other faiths, about which historically there is no ambiguity as to who is
to blame." Spielberg said that if this movie is successful, he is likely to follow it up with
The Spanish Inquisition, a historical film on the torture and murder of the Jews of Spain by the
Catholic Church. "To complete the trilogy," Spielberg announced, "in 2006 I will be filming
'Hitler and the Pope: A Team Formed in Hell.'
That should generate some heated debate." ! ! ! ! !

People cause problems, religion and politics are just two of the tools they use. The sort of power junkies I'm taling about would never be here expressing an opinion ... can you imagine your adolf hitler or charles manson types at a nearby keyboard?

Power corrupts. If you have the ability to manipulate people through a powerful personality, position of responsibility, money, religion or anything - you are at risk of becoming corrupt.

Don't look back through time or around the world, just look at your local council ... favours, backhanders, old boys networks.

Some groups will be seen as greater threats simply because their members tend to be more fanatical. These groups are also seen as better tools for the corrupt to focus and use.

I've always like the old expression, "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink", but what happens when you have the attention of a thousand thirsty horses and they think you know where the water can be found?

This is fake, as has already been pointed out in the lounge. Check any internet site like Snopes for more information.

Elara its good to see that only you know what the real truth to all of the worlds ills are .

I suppose you have a direct link to God and consequently you know everything , and are allways right.

Anyhow its nice to see you posting downunder and that you take the time to read my threads.

Yay! I know a person who works at the Porsche dealership up the road (so I also get to visit and drool over the black GT3 they have in there occasionally. Don't care about GT2s or Boxters or Cayenne). Anyway, I offered to help them with a simple computer issue, and in return they have invited me to a "Driving through the ranges" day. Essentially I get to fang a Porsche through the Adelaide hills. Now I just need to convince them to let me have the GT3.

Or should I try and keep up in the RX8? I know I can take the Boxster. The 6 speed Boxster S should be an interesting challenge.

One of life's great mysteries is whether you can see the sun from Uranus. If so, why do they say "stick it where the sun don't shine"? And when you ask "where's that?" they say "Uranus". Curiouser & curiouser

Too busy working for the money to come down there and whip your aussie **** in a few weeks :D

Only joking, have to agree with you. We left most of the ex-empire in the middle east, asia and africa to go straight to hell, and lets not forget we have to take some of the blame for how the US of A turned out.

Of course I recon one former colony turned out pretty damn fine despite of us, which is why I'm after seeing a bit more of it soon.

Cheers
