I'll be in Australia/New Zealand the next two weeks
Hello,
I'll be leaving to Melbourne, Australia and Auckland, New Zealand in a few days and I am looking for some attractions, touristic or nightlife. Due to some recent changes in my plans for visiting there, I have to figure out new plans. What can some of you guys/girls suggest is good out there to do?
I will update the thread as it gets closer to my departure.
Thankyou,
Adam

Again, it depends where you want to go and what you want to do.
For Melb' there are sites like http://www.visitvictoria.com/. Melbourne has a tourist tram that is for free and does a big circle around the CBD and a number of the main attractions.
For night life you want to check out the Crown Casino, Chappel Street, Lygon Street.
For day trip type stuff there are the wineries, penguins, Great Ocean Road, the Grampians.
PM me when you are in town and we can hopefully catch up (depending on work and kid commitments).
Cheers
Andrew

Okay, I am not sure where in Melbourne I am trying to find a hotel? I am looking close to the beach and nightlife scene. In New Zealand, Auckland same? Any suggestions of good hotels or areas to stay in?

Okay,
Melbourne, Australia
I will be staying in St. Kilda right by the beach on 35 Fitzroy street. I'll be there Nov. 13th to the 17th.
Auckland, New Zealand
I will be staying by Mayoral Dr and Vincent Street. I'll be there Nov. 17th through to the 25th.
If anyone wouldn't mind showing me around or letting me know about some meets, I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Adam

Hey,
Thanks to all for all your suggestions. When I finally got too New Zealand and Australia I was suprised by the beauty and how many things there is to do, also people out there are super nice and friendly. Loved every minute of it out there and wished I stayed.
P.s. Spotted a lot of Rx-8's out there.
Thanks and Cheers
