I have a very difficult time waking up in the morning and feel disoriented and groggy.
It can take up to an hour before I am functional, regardless of how long I sleep.
However, this ONLY occurs at home.

These symptoms cease within one or two nights of sleeping somewhere else (i.e. - hotel out of town).
In fact, when I am out of town, I feel great and ready to go after only a couple of hours of sleep.

do you have pets at home? and perheps you have heater on?

I could be something allergic that you are being desensitized and running a background inflammation but you should still have slight symptom like slight red skin, slight itch or headache or heavy nose.

... hmm Maybe a detail wash of all the things in the bed room and hang them up outside to the sunshine and see if it makes the difference - some people like the air filter in the room with a machine. Some people use the reduce moisture in the room and foudn that helps - some household moisture absorber like the one they put in the closet are great. Check your bed too - do you find your bed is different from the hotel/motels?

bottom line - it ain't serious and do not sound like sleep apnoea a single bit.

Sounds interesting. Could you give a few more details of how you do it please Michael? I remember salt water gargles being useful in the past in some cases, but I can imagine myself drowning myself trying nasal douches without advice on technique!

Cheers, Chris.

PS. How's the mask going Hymee? It might be a bit early to have settled in with it, or have noticed much difference - but any comments after a couple of nights use?

L&L and BVD: my Mrs does much the same thing, but uses a spray available from the Chemist called "Fess" (there is also another brand that is much the same). The spray is a bit less, um, gross, than sniffing up a glass of salty water. Apparently the water in the spray is Ph balanced but there's probably no reason you can't buy one (less than $15 and lasts about 4 months) and then refill it with your own salt water.

Hymee - I was totally taken in my the post title!

cheers,

Saru

Chris

The book i have as my bible for good health is called .

The Tao of Health Sex And Longevity by DANIEL REID :D

( its A modern practical approach to the ancient healing ways of the chinese masters .)
NETI NASAL DOUCHE .
The nasal douche is to get rid of the toxic pollutans that we inhale everyday that damage the nasal membranes .
My method is to get halve a cup of luke warm water add halve a teaspoon of salt stir gently holding your finger on one nostril blocking it inhale the salted water trough the other side of your nose , making sure you dont inhale any air , if done correctly it will circulate trough your nose down into your throat.
then you can spit out the salted water DO NOT SWALLOW IT .Do this procedure on both sides .
When you blow your nose you will be suprised at some of the muck that comes out .
I have not had a flu/cold for some time as i believe this helps in getting rid of the gerns that accumulate in your passages .

The book also deals with LOCKING THE GATE( SEX )in older age and tells you how vital it is for older blokes not to loose their essence when making love (ejaculate ) now this tecknique is harder to learn , however once mastered it gives infinate time with the ladies without ejaculation . I try and practice this method as often as possible :D , so far no complaints from the ladies excepting my wife who allways tries to hurry me along .Using this method an older man can easily please more than one women without loosing his seed .(i could say more but i do not wish to brag about my conquests .)

Chris this bookis full of great wisdom and truth a worthwhile read .
cheers
michael

Hymee

Thank you for posting this thread. It will help us become more aware of this condition. Most of us fall asleep and are totally unaware of what happens while we sleep. The information presented so far has been interesting reading.

Best of luck with your treatment mate.

L&L,

Please dont ruin my thread about sleeping and dreaming with your fantasies and wet dreams.

J/k, but you do leave yourself open on the odd occasion.

Add you need to work out how not to screw up the qoutes you insert. You only have to click one button

Cheers,
Hymee.

It's funny that you mention that jax8. My RE intake is already "Hymee enhanced". He just doesn't know it.

I couldn't think where else to put the sticker!

P.S. It's not for sale any more.
