How many k's/miles have you done

Hi , I'm new to the forum and have read just about all of it over the last week or so ( sad I know) . Got some great info so far .
I'd like to know how many km/miles people have done in their 8's so far & how reliable they have been. Particularly interested if anyone has over 100000 km (62000m) I've heard that Rx7's are not the greatest for this -how about the renesis
I'll start it off
KM on clock 48000 (30000 of those with me driving)
very reliable so far - motor seems strong only problem I've had is a faulty spark plug lead

I will try to bump this thread in 5-6 years. I am still on 34000km after nearly 2.5 years of ownership and the last 4000km in 6 months.

My NZ friend. Faulty spark plug cord, or spark plug itself?

Hi taka

The mechanic told me that the lead had been installed wrong ( not pushed on far enough i guess he means) and spark had been tracking direct to motor.

I have done 30000 km in 12 months so was keen to get some feedback as I am racking up the ks pretty quick.

I have done 7,700km since getting the car -- all of 8 weeks now. May need an engine change within a couple of years at the rate I am going. (I live on a tiny city-state island.)

I have about 11000 (about 17000 km) miles on my 04 that I bought in March of 04. I have a company car so that's why it's low mileage, but I do drive it every chance I get.

There is a member on here (NYT-OWL) from Texas that has quite a few miles on his 8. I think that he has surpassed that 62,000 mile mark without any issues thus far.

As for me, I am at 39,000 miles so I am getting there quickly. Sorry, I don't know the km conversion.

1 mile = 1.6km

or if you want to get REALLY specific, 1 mile = 1.60934km

and for the smart *** who posted nautical miles, 1 nautical mile = 1.15078 miles

yeah...I'm a dork.
