I'm from Christchurch aswell and have just brought a rx8 a week ago. I would love to go for a drive and meet other rx8 owners and check out the cars.

Its a shame theres no boosted rx8s that I know of down here. But what I lack in boost, I make up for in being fearless 
On a side note, does any chch member own a black cherry shinka rolling on gold wheels? Seen it on yaldhurst rd sunday

I will try get a register of SI members and talk to a few people.
On a side note, why the **** does something else break when I fix something? Now im getting this strange sucking noise (sounds like a turbo sucking) only at 8k to 9k (gearchange obviously) I havent noticed any difference in performance but I havent heard this noise before

Oh yeah Starion, I'd be real keen to have a look at your car in person by the way, never seen an actual Shinka (gold Works on Black Cherry sounds a nice combo by the way)

It looked pretty sweet lol.
I dunno what the issue is. I have no loss of performance. In fact I recently raced a rx8 and creamed it. It could be the exhaust gasket is fucked after I took off my midpipe and now there's a slight leak?

I think most of the Chch members are on this very thread (Starion, you, me, Toshy etc) so here would be a good place to brainstorm ideas.
On your side note, no idea man, that doesn't sound like any problem I've read about on here...

I'm keen just to meet up and park up and talk about our cars. I know very little about them and am keen to learn.
