Hey cheers for that mate, I have one lined up, should no more during the week, ive had plenty of rotarys in the past, (currently have a s7 FD) but no knowledge about rx8s apart from what you can read online etc

would def be good to meet some 8 owners in chch.

I know Al Marsh so will get him to do a compression test.

Il be getting a tiptronic 8, not looking for performance ( ive got other cars for that ), just a cruiser but also so the wife can drive it. I have a tenancy to hold onto my cars so resale wont be a prob lol

Check out Bremma's car (click his profile on page 1 of this thread and PM him). He's been selling the blue beast for about 4 months now. It's a real nice example - best seen in the flesh.

Word of warning when buying an 8, ALWAYS get a compression test done. Al Marsh can do this and give you a rough indication of how long until the engine will require a rebuild. He's straight up, and my first choice of rotary guys in Chch (by a long way).

Shout out when you have an 8 and we can arrange a meet/cruise.

Getting Al to do comp test slipped my mind, so il get onto that. not a fan of blue or red 8s so iv been looking at silver, grey & white pearl. not into body kits etc, just clean n simple & lowered on rimz.

Having a regular meet up for chch rx8 owners is an excellent idea. Lets get onto it
