I sort of half agree with both sides of the debate here. My cat-back was designed and installed in 1 day by a master exhaust craftman, with many years of experience in high performance exhaust design behind him. AMG has also used the guy in the past with some of his other cars. This guy understands exhausts completely, and rotaries very well too ...

So, no significant R&D in the implementation of my system.

However, the component parts of my system consist of significant R&D. The mufflers themselves are extremely high tech pieces of kit that your average back yarder cannot hope to compete with.

ie. a lot of R&D goes into internally polished continuous perforated tubes and high temperature roving fibreglass packing ...

Bravo L&L: you're now ready to tour. Seeing you on Thursday, hopefully, otherwise at Wakefield on Friday.
Good motoring,
jack

Takahashi..I havn't forgotten you!
Back at Christmas time I promised you a video copy of the TopGear article on the rx8, also FifthGear on the 350z.
I will give the tape to Lock&Load on Friday to take down to Melbourne for you. (There is a bit of rubbish between the 2 shows on the tape.)
Better late than never.
Back on the thread topic, the Hymee exhaust is no way too loud, as you will appreciate next week.
Cheers, jack

Still planning on that meet L&L, but I will not know until lunch tomorrow. It is touch and go whether the shearers will finish all my sheep by tomorrow night. I will post as soon as I know.

So much publicity about L&L trip with Hymee's exhaust. I think L&L should have a documentry about his trip... sounds like it will be "R" rated :D

It is ok jax8 - I think someone email me the electronic version of the Topgear - RX8 and 5th gear - 350Z. If the rest of the time is cars/**** - then let's have it

I think I should borrow my friend's DV and do a little video on the famous L&L

I'll be there: just like in Surfers, money talks. Mention thismorning of some folding stuff as a bonus if we cut out tonight has done wonders to their tallies in the first two runs today.

BP Heatherbrae make a drinkable cup of coffee. I have Hymee's mobile and will ring around 7 to check on your progress. Graftonish I guesstimate

This is just about as exciting as a sleepover for an rx8yearold

Gr8.

Grafton sounds like about the first fuel stop as well. About 350km from my place. I should ask for sponsorship from BP. I am planning only on refuelling on Ultim8 for the whole trip. (Which is what I pretty much exclusively use anyways).

Cheers,
Hymee.
