I couldn't care less if he can yodel backwards while playing the sitar! :p
As a vapid materialistic Sydney-sider it was the references to 'semi-retired at 31' and 'the property market' that inflamed my envy!!! :D :D
Still, glad to hear he decided not to slum it like the other multi-millionaires in one of those common as muck red italian things - obviously a man of good taste!

Having parents of Italian background I feel it would be my obligation ( **** **** ) :D
I love the 8 so much more now anyhow :D
Funny enough we were on my mates $1.5 mil yacht and when we pulled in to dock my car was next to his 456 marinello ( which mind you look more similar than you might think) and because My 8 is modified lowered, bodykit etc and whoops debadged , it got sooo much more looks and comments than the freaken prencing horse . NO CRAP!
But when he started that V12 , and those 48 valves going up & down . Well may I say , my moments of gloating were over
Still luv ma 8

Just joking. :D
I did my "sex 'n drugs and rock 'n roll" time back in the early seventies. I co-founded a graphic design business in Melbourne (the other guy had the talent...) and we did a lot of work for the (young) Mushroom Records, who were just down the road.
We did publicity photos, album covers etc for them (The good looking blonde with the long straight hair on the cover of Richard Clapton's "Girls on the Avenue" was my girlfriend for a while at the time).
I also had the pleasure of collaborating on a musical comedy that was performed in Perth and country WA some years back. My friends wrote and stole the music and I wrote the libretto and helped with production and directing. Standing at the back of a packed hall, full of people having a good time and laughing at what I'd written was a very happy experience.
If I can learn enough to do that with music I've created I'll die a happy man.
Long way to go, but what a wonderful journey it is. Music is the King Queen and Prince of the Arts! :D
Now back to figuring out those diminished chords....

MMMM diminished chords my fave minor third , raise the fourth a half step , and finish by raising the 5th a full step ...... But you knew that :D
I attempted a Jazz course at Griffith Uni But flunked suckfully
Sorry, hate diminished chords and all that freaked out jazz timing..
Speaking of Mushroom Records . I had a publishing contract with Liberation a few years ago (Mushroom started it) . and met the great man Michael Kadinski.
A 100 mill man and as humble as pie
btw , I recorded my album at Mushroom and had a hit in london with the most crap song I ever Wrote " Superman"
Once my web gets up I ll have all my songs there for all you guys to see
