Hello Guys,

Want to know how many of you guys are interested in buying Recaro seats for spirit driving or for track days?

I have a source to get Genuine Recaro Seats with very attractive price... Ranging from Evo to Type R seats... normally, you will need to pay over 1K for a seat... but now.... it is 900 for A PAIR of brand new Recaro seats.... without Rails... you are looking at 200 to 300 per rail (cannot be able to get any discount on those rails...)

We can even get a lot cheaper price than that if there are enough people buying... and the seats will be shipped out from a very reputable tuning shop (as they imported a container of Recaro seats in) and they will look after you from there.

I am gonna post a few sample pictures sent from Recaro factory and with the seats themselves, they will have Recaro logo on as well.

With these seats, the recline mechanism is operated by a latch instead of the turning ****... you can be able to see what I meant with the pictures I am gonna post soon...

Please keep this in mind, these seats are GENUINE RECARO SEATS... We can be able to look at those seats once they are landed in Melbourne (somewhere around this week or next week as I am told)

This thread is used to get how many people are interested in these seats and we will know what price to set with larger amount of group buy!

They do come in Leather... but only in black leather though...... I guess they can be able to order a pair for you if you want that.... and I am sure the price wouldn't be too much off!

Yeah... it is very attractive.... just spoke to the shop.... he will even lower the price than 900 for a pair if there are many people interested in it! I will keep everyone informed on the price of the group buy!!

BTW... my source can get us either Recaro or Bride brackets for 250 AUD each... and the installation is free!


I will post up actual pictures when I get to see them next week or so!

Oh.... they even have Full bucket seats available as well... but it will be in the next bloke of shipment...

AND.... I am gathering people for goup buy in various forums.... so hopefully we can be able to get down to a VERY VERY cheap price!

EDIT:
As what I said in the first post, this thread is used to just express the interest on the seat (with the cheap price)... I will want to make sure that those seats are geniune recaros as well before we go ahead with the purchase! I am told that the seats are made by Recaro factory and have the recaro logo on the seats too... I will need to varify all of these to protect all of us before we even spend a penny!!! Don't wanna destroy my reputation if that's a phony stuff!

I think it is the SR II or SR III in the DC5 Type R. They are nicer as the side a more vertical to give a better hug --- but they tend to sack with time. I sorted of think that they are moulding to my big fat ***

Dude,

who supplied you with the pics ? Most recaro's unless re upostered come with the recaro badge right in the centre of the seat most times or just alittle above the centre. Some other come at the top.

From every website and car i have gone in with Recaro seats there are clearly visable recaro logos.

Plenty of good seat makers out there for track days etc. Recaros are nice i would get originals but they would be around the 900 dollar mark each not 900 for a pair.

Until they show you the good you should trust everything as being BULLSHIT.

If not thats great.

I have promised them not to tell at this stage.... and they told me that those seats have recaro logos as well.... the pictures are just samples.... the source told me that he got those seats from recaro factory directly, but that's what he told me and that's what I mentioned earlier that I would need to see/feel directly myself when the seats are here... and I am the same as everyone.... I am not too sure as everyone, am just passing the message through, that's all...

Also all Melbourne RX-8 owners (who are interested in getting those) are welcome to take a look when they are here in the shop...

And once again... this thread is used to just express the interests on those seats with that sort of price IF and only IF they are real recaro seats...

Honestly if they are not approved distributers your looking at getting fakes at those prices.

many friends, many shops can not get those prices on one seat let alone two mate thats all im saying.

There are copies with recaro logos. Maybe what you can do is get the container number from this guy and i will be able to tell you what country its coming from easy. I believe the Recaro Factory is in Germany correct.

The information will be private and confidential of course. Also i will only let you know the out comeon what i find.

I get what you meant mate... I will try to get the container number (try my best) out of the source and see if he will give that to me... I guess the Recaro factory might be in Germany, but we never know if they have other factories everywhere in the world though... but that will be a good way to know, Good Idea!!!

Just like do you know RS*R exhausts are made in Taiwan, while many people think they are all made in Japan because it is a japanese brand.... hahahaha...

maybe they telling you they will be with the RECARO logo but these seats are fakes - 100% positive.
Either RECARO Japan nor RECARO USA ever produced such seats. Also the RECARO never ever has lever.
RECARO always have hand wheels to adjust the backrest.
That's standard.

So please hand's off, these seats are fakes and it can be your last ride if you crash.

I can vouch that recaro's ONLY come with the **** adjustment.
They'll never come out in lever.
