Heads up - there is now no more accommodation left at the track. I tried to get a room yesterday and got an email back today saying they were all booked out on the weekend of the Nats.

This is a worry.. There should have been more than enough space to take us all..

We may have to organise a shuttle service from the Goulburn motels to the track..

Therefore, it is hard to imagine it will out of rooms so early. I doubt anyoen will like to stay at Wakefield park if it is not tracking there! It is middle of nowhere right?

Accomodation is still available. There was a little confusion earlier, because Timbo had taken out a block booking for all the accomodation. The people at Wakefield didn't realise we were still going to book individually.Spoke to them this morning all is OK.Ring them on 02 48222811.
Cheers

There's a slight communication problem at Wakefield Park Speak with Chris, who by now has finally read my email of Monday. She has all your names (of those committed)

So there are 3 houses booked?

I only take 1 bed available in the room and anyone who does not mind my snoring can share the room with me

Have just spoken with Chris myself.

She was confused because the villas had been block-booked and she was unaware that attendees would be making individual bookings. She's now with the program.

Just ring her and she will send you a booking form to complete and send back. Suggest you make it clear on the form that you are happy to share your room with one other otherwise we'll run out of room (5 villas, each with 6 twin-share bedrooms). We can sort out bunkies when we all get there.

Dave

Just to clarify -- I think only 4 villas are available as Wakefield were talking about one being used for a long-term employee...but each has 6 b/r, with 2 beds in each (ie, accommodates 48...or maybe 60). Two of the rooms in each villa has a double and a single, for those bringing partner/children.

Is this a sanctioned Mazda event?

Meaning - Mazda arent going to take my details and void any future warranty claims due to me 'racing'....are they?

Just askin' !

Ahh probably if you are racing. Most of us are going to be there doing driver training.

With strict track rules there will be no racing. In fact I think if someone is perceived by the organisers/officials to be racing they will be removed from all further track activities.
