Fair enough - sorry Timbo, got a bit carried away defending Kalli's honour there. :o :o

And Lock's just such a big target - it's hard to resist! :p :D :D

Revolver be good boy from now on....

I am no microbiologist, but I DO know that beta lactamase strain of Gonorrhea bacteria has been around for a while. Try single dose of Ciprofloxacin. :p

BACK TO TOPIC:

Any comment on the accomodation??
We have to book it soon you know. Otherwise, Timbo and I will make the choice!

Taka, it'd be nice if we could get a motel that would accomodate us all and have our cars parked where we can keep an eye on them. That would be ideal...spa notwithstanding! A motel that has units in a U shape with the cars in the middle would be grouse :D .

Have we actually booked the track or still just EOI?
Naturally I will be sleeping in the RX8 so contents of motel etc means little to me

Deposit paid on track. I'm planning a trip to Goulburn early next week to inspect motels and identify one that best suits our needs.

(note to self: must do something about day job getting in the way of leisure planning )

Yes that would be ideal. That is why I am thinking either book early in a 4 star Willow or just go 3 star and have the whole motel to ourselves.

Timbo will take pic of the motels and talk to the owners, won't you?

Posthouse said someone approached him and held some room for the "national rotary conference"... are you responsible Tim?

'Mez might want a big one to fit his big size *** LOL j/k :p

If it is not you then why PostHouse knows about the "national rotary conference in Wakefield"?

Anyway, if Timbo show us the pic next week and then we can book the rooms. People on the list above please say now if you are not sure, since we have to book room.

The track is booked and if there are 40 people coming it will be cheap!

Good job Sir Timbo

We have it, but mine is full of strange characters like É Õ Ž Ò.. However, the basic message is intact.. I suppose you are using an Enigma to encrypt the posts between your PC and the forum..

I suggest a Zaino polishing demo delivered by the guy from Elipse Detailing - I suggest he selects a good looking Titanium Grey to use as the demo car.. :D

Uh-uh...wasn't me, I don't even know where Goulburn is!

I can slum it and do without the spa, timbo . However, should the place we end up at have rooms with spa's.......dibs on one for me.

I really recommend you have a good look at the sheep station next door to the Track. Both private and "communal" accomodation / meals area. Plus can be like a caravan park. Only problems could be with dust from the dirt track. But it would be a good spot. Lots of room for a concourse d'elegance etc.

Cheers,
Hymee.

At $ 15 PER NIGHT its certainly great value , fresh air nice sheep ,track views , tight wooden bunks 4 to a room

I honestly feel that this form of accomodation will be far too Spartan for most of the members being a shearer shed id label it as 1 star , whilst i stayed there on my last wakefield outing , id prefer somewhere with decent hot shower and eating facilities etc .

Also because of the drought the dust / dirt would be annoying

Most decent accomodation would be within a 5 minute drive to the track so theres no problem .

Hymee i am sure the sheep will welcome your stay , :p and the local cat thats the size of small lion :D YOU COULD SPEND A NICE EVENING SHOWING THEM YOUR SUPERCHARGER MAYBE A FEW OF THE SHEEP LOVERS WILL STAY THERE AS WELL

I'll post pictures and prices for a range of accommodations, but my deep inner sense suggests it's wise we're all in as close to one location, at least for Sat night
