EOI: HID kits

EOI: HID kits
Hi guys,
These Xenon HID conversion kits are made by Kaixen.
For a quick reference on prices:
H1 or H7 kits @ 6000K OR 8500K = $450
H4 DOUBLE kit (low AND high beam Xenon) @ 6000K OR 8500K = $560
The Kits have a 1 year warranty on the ballasts AND bulbs. I stand by their quality 100%! I know you wont be disappointed. The warranty does NOT cover faulty installations e.g. braking the bulb when installing. It DOES cover ALL manufacturer defects.
Tax Invoice will be issued.
i already had one fitted to my other car and its so much brighter than standard
I think its a good upgrade for non factory HID rx8
if you need more info i can get more just contact me
cheers,
Phillip

umm.... AFAIK, you need an antomatic leveller to make it legal.
pls correct me if im wrong, every factory HID fitted car must have an automatic leveller to pass ADR

Give you an example, the Holden Barina SRi MY4.0 spec came with HID without levellers and washers, this spec ran for about 4 months.
Its replacement MY4.5 spec came without HID and no other changes........... coincidence or what?

SRi with HID??? . I should have forced my wife to drive a manual :o
So, Philip, if I change mine to 6000K D2S bulb:
1) need any modifications?
2) Still legal?

ADR 46 says headlamps must provide adequate illumination of the road ahead without causing undue glare to other road users. Elswhere the rules say the light from headlights must be white in colour.

i think it will be ok changing just the globe
i have already done that to my 8
i got the 6000k one cause it just white
i tried the 8000k but to much blue so that why i only changed to 6000k
but i got that before i found this supplier so i paid 250 just for globes (so expensive)
timbo. im not sure about canberra but in sydney if you have head lights that have any blue tint its a defect it has to be either yellow to white

So any conversions for the base model My lights SUCK. I saw another base model 8 across from me on the m5 and i thought that looks just so lame. Dame worse than a car which is 40 years old.

Yeah, the ADR applies regardless of the state you are in (although "interpretation", "inspection" and "enforcement" varies from state to state :p
