soo I need a new clutch ....... perfectly safe and legal driving.

were is the best place in nz too get a clutch from and what brands would you giys suggest?

Exedy NZ is a good place to get excellant quality clutches. They are at 151 Wairau road, Glenfield, Ph. +64 9 444 0901 on the north shore in Auckland. You can buy direct from them.
This does depend on who you deal with there though.
One guy I dealt with there was hopless, the other was excellant.
I think from memory Steve was the good one to deal with, and Phillip was hopeless.

Is that the Exedy Hyper Single? That's what I have in mine. I like it a lot. The pedal is not real heavy. But man it grabs hard. There is about 1/2-1" of play from full release to full grab.

I have a lot of clutch experiance. Over a million miles with big trucks and every vehicle I've ever owened is standard. I've only Killed one clutch with over 300K miles on it.

It is hard to get the car moving with less then 2000 RPM.
