when i looked at it carefully again, the date on this news was dated back to 7/30/2004.... and i never heard of the release of any supercharger since then so i guess it's not out, maybe this is just their plans of building one???

Aparrently they only bolt them on the 4 port engine not the 6 port engine. I recently read about this in the Option magazine.

It is a crap kit Lock. And it has been out since 4/2004. Claim and have add 50ps to the 4 port engine but somehow it has not been popular with the High Power for some unknown reason??

so in japan, the 6MT has a 4 port intake as well? so the TYPE-S is the only 6MT 8 with 6 port in japan??? coz the flyer said the kit is avaliable for the 6MT is well... sorry if i asked a stupid question :p

No it is not a stupid question but you are NOT quite right about the JDM models :p --- ** the normal RX-8 is 4 port 210ps (gasp!) and 5MT (gasp!). :p

So 6MT is Type S with the high power engine is what they have....

I have to dig out the article about the Blitz not able to use in the High Power Renesis. Where is my RX-7 magazine!!!!! (still shipping :o)

To answer your question correctly Zephyr. Yes they are listed for the high power Type S. However, I read in magazine that it does not work well for some reason...

So the show cars with the Blitz compressors are all 4 ports Renesis

the kit wont produce much power up high in the rev range as the superchargers size is too small. the supercharger that they use is basicaly the same as the toyota supercharger used on past 4agze's. 1.6L of piston air flow it dosn't look long enough to be the one from the 2.4L six which would be a better size.
from everything I've read they are aiming this kit as a soft tuning option that will make the car easyer to drive round town due to more torque down low.
