Lock & Load, maybe this helps you...and us to see you and your 8 above postage stamp size Looking at your photos, they seem to be in the correct format (.jpg), just not compressed. There should be a setting somewhere in the sw you use to alter or turn on compression ratio as you save the file to disk. Here is your example - 1st the original at 250pixel x 188 pixels and 85kb size. I took it in, enlarged it to 750x564 pixels, then recompressed it into a .jpg file of 26kb using a 64 to 1 compression ratio.

The new file is now 9 times bigger (pixel count), but over 3 times smaller in kb size as well!
