Thumbs up

A late vote for the BBQ from me

I volunteer to do the breads for the day.

Maybe we should add one more item to Kalli's list too, how about some greens/salads?

Done! Confirming will bring drinks AND cups of course. However will also bring along ice in a cooler. Planning to bring mostly juices, apple, mango, gauva that sort of thing, as soft drinks may get the little ones worked up a bit

Will also bring some rubbish bags along as well, so that we can clean after up after ourselves.

week away

Wow I go away for 1 week and this has turned into an epic of TIMBO performance, I think Timbo could use the organisational skills of Kalli for the next Nationals
Looks like I had better be a meat volunteer as that seems to be what is left.
And I would have voted for the cafe if I had been back earlier Kalli
I am more than happy with the BBQ
See you there

Starting to wonder if I will be able to make the BBQ now. Will have to wait and see how the next couple days go. The old Health has taken a turn for the worse in the last few days. Pretty much confined to my bed and my chair and if things have not shown improvement by Monday the Doc says it straight off to Hospital

Caught a chest infection early in the week and because of some past lung problems/weakness they have not held up well and have both filled with a little fluid. Then the sinuses have also become infected followed by both ears so I am sitting in bed not able to breath nor hear a damn thing. Not one of my better weeks I tell you.

Oops it past my time to take some more of my drugs

I shall pop back in when I am lucid again

Stu, take care of yourself firstly there wil always be another drive.

Wow!! This has turned into a feast on wheels. Sorry I have missed a lot of the organising but I don't read this forum very often. I'll bring whatever is required well as some beer. Should I bring some salads as it appears to be the only uncovered gap? Or some dips or a cheese platter? I'm so confused. How many are we catering for? Cheers

Hi Stu

Hey Stu , no worries if you cant make it, however I believe it would be unfair on Danielle and the new toy to be dragged out of this because of a health hiccup on your part, so we won't miss out on 2/3rds of the family and I think she does look better behind the wheel than your good self.
How's that for showing a caring side to my nature

That sounds like a recipe for disaster for yourself. Of course Danielle would invite Jenny to sit in the seat beside her for the day and you just now what she thinks of the MX5 Come First thing Monday you'll be taking the drive to the nearest dealer with cheque book in hand

To tell the truth Danielle will not leave me at present. She is a little concerned and worrying too much me thinks. I had the same symptons 4 years ago which became so bad the same doctor and the specialists he organised all said I would not survive - don't you love proving them wrong - so this is all she is really thinking about. She forgets now they have a much better idea of what they are treating and how to treat it. My chest has eased slightly over the last day so things I feel are on the improve!

Spending the next week in my bed and in front of the projector so will take it very easy. A nice drive and BBQ with friends is something to look forward to and a good reason to make myself get better. I am a big believer that over half the battle is won in the mind.

And if not I leave my remains to Taka. He can slice & dice to discover the cause. And knowing him he just might even post a few of the pictures here

Hey Stu, good point we don't want that cheque book getting a workout do we.
On a brighter note it would be great to see Taka get to pull a real man apart for a change instead of the frail oldies he normally dismembers, we better not get him too worked up at the thought so get well soon Stu. (from Jenny)
