[VIC] Christmas get together and Cruise

Time for our final meet of the year.
This has to be a mad one.

Now I finalize the date and run
Start from my new place in Kew . I can show off my new garage.

Address: Old Burke Road, Kew East (go right to the end to meet us)
Melway reference 31 K12
Date: Sat 17th Dec
Time: 1000
Cruise: Down beach road to Arthur Seat by 11ish.

Bring anything to show anyone.

Anymore suggestions??

Saturday 17th lunch is good for me. Have dinner on that day already booked but it is on same side of town so lunch works really well.

Sunday 18th is out as I have my brother down from Canberra so we are celebrating an early family christmas that day.

Must check out the Stig's new garage as we all know he was looking first of all for the perfect garage and if it had a house that went with it, well that was a bonus

17th works for me too

How about Flinders, or a Mornington Pen winery, for lunch?

It would be worth one jet falling out of the sky wouldn't it. We are such a great fun bunch of people who would want to miss lunch with us

Thats bad news though. A real shame if you cannot make it... But understandable!

I am sure you mate would not mind swapping the new year weekend with 17th and 18th LOL.

How come you are working all though Christmas?

Anyhow, EmperiorJazzy and Kraize are you ok with 17th? Jazzy you still have your RX-8?

They are both excellent choices. I like the Arthur Seat better - love the road going up and down Arthur Seat.

Haha....

I said he is responsible to maintain the high quality of the Virgin air-hostess. Or the design of their low cut brousers next year

He apparently is responsible to make sure your flight to Whitsundays takes off and lands safely.

Oh combine with the .au site voites - 17th is way ahead. I will make 17th official if there is not much objection to this date.

Now.... is Arthur Seat good enough?

How long is to drive from Kew to Arthur Seat via the Beach road. About an hour? I know riding my bike will take a good 2 hours. The fun is to go up the Arhtur Seat.

I think an hour's about right. Will be busy on a Saturday so we should prob aim to get there earlyish for parking spaces with the view...
There's a great-looking drive loop from A's Seat to Shoreham and back, descibed in the latest RACV mag. Could do this after lumch.

This is all starting to fall into place for me. Initially the 17th was out, but after some reaaranging it looks on.

One of my rug rats has been invited to a mates birthday party on the day, but he wants to go for a drive with dad. How old are your 2 Andrew?

As far as the road to Shoreham and back, I have some clients up there and have driven it before. Well worth the time in the afternoon. Plenty of wineries along the way as well to re-fuel if needed. (obliously not too much)

My car is going to the panel beater next Monday to replace the passenger side mirror and fix some scrathches on the door. (watch out for your wheelie bins in your driveway) It has taken 4 weeks to get a mirror from Japan, including the time spent getting through our new whiz bang customs system. I will be getting my front guard which was attcked by some bast@rd fixed as well.

Looking forward to catching up with everyone again, and also having a close look at Stu's new "wheels".

Greg

Hi All, I've just joined so I'll see some of you guys on the cruise. I just got my new 8 last week (Sunlight Silver with fender streaks + leather) and haven't had a chance to run her in.
