SayNoToPisotns: Wowee...
Man did I get a lot of compliments in that car... just wasn't a very good daily driver lol, couldn't get in most driveways without a lot of work
Ah - The Memories...
87' Buick LeSabre AT - Deemed the "Streamline Butterfly" by my friends.
-Transmission rebuilt once - was never fully fixed however. Was basically un-drivable because of this when I got rid of it. Had some leaking fuel injectors replaced.
When I got rid of it, it needed: New struts & springs, catalytic converter, new drum brakes (Break clips failed and threaded the drum), windshield, new passenger side headlight, new paint job.
95' Mercury Tracer AT - Deemed the "Noisy Cricket" by myself. Friends approved.
- Flex pipe blew a hole, hints the name. Made the wimpy 4 cylinder sound really monstrous somehow...
When I got rid of it, it needed: New struts & springs, New flex pipe/muffler system, new drum brakes (Break clips failed and threaded the drum), windshield, new passenger side headlight, new paint job.
Odd? : It scared me, how the same problems from the LeSaber carried over to the tracer... Both "get-me-by" cars, but great cars all things considered. No more than one *major* problem and I used them for over 8 years combined. Broke 200,000 miles on the LeSaber and 190,000 miles on the Tracer. Started with over 150,000 miles on both as well.
05' Mazda RX-8 Touring AT - No title given as of yet. (Current Car)
- First owner bought in 06'. I bought in Jan 08'. Only had 7,500 miles when purchased. I've not broke 8,000 yet in my first month of owning it. I only live a few blocks away from work.

So far all I can say is... It sure feels like one hell of an upgrade. The RX-8 is like a whole new world for me. As you can now see, I've never owned such a nice, clean, functional, sporty, below 150,000 mile vehicle. Every time I leave the car, I can't wait to get back in. I'm happy to finally be working on a real investment of a car. I'm already dreaming of trading this one in in about 5-6 years for a new RX-8 GrandTouring MT someday. I'd like to get into the MT side of driving. Planned to with my next car - but I couldn't pass up the deal on this 8. And at least it's Auto w/ manual option too.

My previous car was a 2006 Pontiac G6 coupe in fusion orange. I had that for about 18 months. The car was pretty fast, but unfortunately no manual transmission. I love my new ride though, a beautiful 2004 Mazda Rx8.
1993 Ford Taurus - I still have this, it has the most ridiculously good sound system ever. Gotta do some work on this, but it's gonna be my snow car.
Upgraded to the rx-8 in december :-D

'93 Honda accord SE. With an automatic transmission, Car computer, and big stereo system. Well taken care of, but the radiator rotted away, and it was due for some other major work to keep it running another 143,000 miles, so I sold it and got an 8 before California decided to ban them.

First pic is of my 2003 Acura Rsx Type-S, Loved the car, I put way to much money into the car and was always afraid to drive it. So I sold it for my RX8 and the pic of the 04 Dodge Dakota is my other ride. Mostly for rainy days and winter beater.
The other pic is my 2005 Yamaha YZF450, love that quad, its soo fast.
