MS Coilover Broke with less than a year of street use

So I bought a crap load of MS parts back in Feb and March and the only ones that don’t have a year warranty are the coilovers. talk about blowing money. they want 990. for two rear replacements retail, and 780. wholesale price. and even though this is clearly a manufacture defect doesn’t matter they had no warranty according to Mazda. I was driving down the freeway and i went over a slight dip in the road and heard a pop sound, then the sound got progressively worse. After pulling the rear drivers side this is what i came up with. only 8 months of street use I was never even able to take it to the track. so now im not sure if I should just get two new rear MS coils or go with something else like the Megan, H&R, or CUSCO. any thoughts or Ideas?

Surprised and disheartened...plus sucks for you. With that happening, I don't think I'd trust them ever again completely....which is a non-no when you take your machinery to the track. Best get something good. Cusco has been zero problem for years for me...many other good brands I'm sure.

man i wish i had read that befor i purchased a new set from MAZDA. looks like CUSCO here I come. then try and get MAZDA to replace them. Im sure this has happened alot, probably why MAZDA has disbanded MS products in the US now. any one heard of anyone successfully getting replacements through MAZDASPEED or Eibach?

Just an update:

I ended up calling Eibach and they partially warranted them. they replaced the broken parts and rebuilt both rears for 180 bucks plus shipping to them. Seems like a fair price and way better than an entire new set.

I talked with the lead R&D, and they said they have never heard of this happening. Weird.
