I've been looking for a while for wheels that I like, and these are the only ones I really like. My question is are they truly worth the $978 price tag (cheapest I've found)? I like that Diamond black finish and I can't find any wheels that have that same look. If I could find some that looked like them, just less expensive, I'd be interested, but I can't find any that have the same look and color. Saw some Volk racing that were close, but they were practically the same price.
Would love some thoughts of folks who have them, or have seem them. Thanks!

well I have enkei RPM2's in thier hyperblack finish. They have a similar forked spoke look, like my Ducati Marchesini wheels... which is why I got them. The Enkei's aren't perfection, nor top of the line (about $300 something per 18" wheel) but they are lighter than stock and do the job.
I was going to get those until I saw them on an RX-8 pace car in the diamond black and they didn't look that great. I believe I have a photo up on the MRR site of the pace car. http://www.rxclubofwi.org/rally/2005yesterdays_mrr.htm 5 rows down on the right in the '06 photo's.
I ended up going with a set of Rafaello's instead.
The ASA AR1 or AR2 are a bit cheaper but there is definitely a difference between them. The BBS are more curved and I am sure they are lighter being forged.

Yeah, it looks like I'm just going to have to save up then. The more I see the similar ones (Volk, ASA, FD, ect.), the more I like the BBS. I really like how the 'rim' connects to the 'wheel' in the fact that there is hardly a lip like on all the similar ones. It makes it look more like one piece.
It could be the color that helps gives it that look.
ASA is licensed by BBS for those that didn't know.
I did see a set of the BBS (same color) on a BMW and I am sure I looked like a fool as I walked into the Target store, I was walking backwards for a while.
When I came back out it was still there so I stopped in for a closer look. Very nice.

I think the trick to getting those BBS's to look right on the car is having a wide enough wheel. With a narrow wheel(8") the spokes almost seem to dome out past the edge of the rim which doesn't look that good, the ASA's are better in that respect.
With a wider rim they do look pretty nice assuming you have the silver or put the diamond black on a car whose color doesn't clash with it.
The more I look at them the more I think those would look really nice on the right color 8. It would look even better with a rotory emblem in the middle of the wheel.
