The organizers of SevenStock and the Rotorheads at Mazda are planning a great courtyard display this year, despite the absence of the #55 LeMans 787B. There will be two major themes at SevenStock this year: Mazda America Rotary Motorsports History, and and emphasis on traditional sporty rotary coupes. First up, Jim Downing will be bringing 2 of his freshly restored 4-Rotor LeMans cars from a few years back. The 792P 4-Rotor will also be fully restored and fired up at SevenStock. There will also be other famous Rotary Race cars in the courtyard on display, such as Downing's IMSA RS RX-3. Other cars on display will be restored RX-2, RX-3. and RX-4s. Mazda wants to show the importance of these rotary coupes to the history of Mazda. (Remember, Mazda has refound their soul, and are promising exciting cars for the future!)
The main day of SevenStock car show will be held at Mazda R&D Studios in Irvine, Ca on October 8th. For more information visit http://sevenStock.org/
Cheers,
