Yes. now we are working on the details. Lowering temperature programming and open all port in the intake for better free flow.

I should rephrase, does it run with all 6 ports working as they should or are only 4 ports working and you're trying to wire open the 5th and 6th ports?

We leave open the last port in search of a better answer. Looking for a better curve at 7000 rpm.

Leaving the aux port open below about 5500 rpm will result in a significant power loss in the lower rpm range ..... Fact .
There are only minor gains to be had in changing the the Aux port opening rpm , a few hundred rpm earlier than stock will give small gains.

BUT : for a stock Greddy turbo the best option is to Leave the Aux port closed completely as the stock turbo will overspool at high rpm if the aux. port is left open .

This turns the engine into a 4 port but means the turbo operates closer to its efficiency range and will allow you to run more boost to get back the power you lose by not opening the ports.

Hmmm now I am wondering if this Haltech ECU will be a viable option for a series 1.

I know that it's been attempted before without success but from what I've read that was only one attempt.

With the right person tuning it It would surely work ok . The problem with most stand alones is drivability . Nothing else works quite as well as the stock computer re-flashed by Cobb or M/E .

255bhp would be pretty sad . He meant 255WHP which is in line with what we know the greddy turbo does on the S1 at the boost figure he quoted .

I figured as much, but you never know so was just seeking clarification.

OP, is the goal just to turbo the car or to do it in a way that would pass emissions?
