HID headlights in non-HID equipped car?
If I buy the OEM HID headlight assembly, is it direct plug and play with my 2009 Sport which does NOT have HIDs?
Would quite like to upgrade the lights on my car, but not sure if it'll fit? Don't want to use aftermarket HID conversion as I know those will probably blind oncoming cars.
Thanks

Pinout below:
LH Headlight:
OEM Harness -> HID Connector
LGrn/BLk -> LGrn/Blk
Blk -> Blk/Y
Brn -> Brn
Vio/Wht -> Vio/Wht
RH Headlight:
OEM Harness -> HID Connector
LGrn/Blk -> LGrn/Blk
Blk -> Blk/Y
Brn -> Brn
Wht/Blk -> Wht/Blk
If you have question, let me know! I will say I know for certain the LH is correct, I had to guess a bit on the RH but I am pretty sure its correct so do the drivers first, and pay attention to which wires go where. Pin location wise it is the same on the passenger side. Also you will have 3 left over wires in the HID Harness you will not use. Just trim them short.
For safety I suggest putting in a 5amp fuse for the LH and RH headlight circuit. It should just be under 5 amps on startup. This way if you have a wiring issue it can blow the fuse first and save a ballast.
Good luck!
