mazda warranty?? and engine no start again

Hey all,

seen all the posts and tsb's for engine crank no start.....here's the issue. i have an 04 rx8 gt with mtrans and 37,345 miles. it wont start. battery was trickle charged, jumped, and boost charged. multimeter reads 12.8 and fluxed between 11.8 and 14.4 during charges. so ignore the fact i may need a new battery.....lights stay on. no flickering. fuel pump still works, heard n felt it. starter works b/c it whines n cranks but just wont kick over. heres the kicker. i live alone n busted my shoulder so i cant work on my own car. and i dont have enough money to have it towed. so i cant check sparks myself. and in my many attempts to start it, it did turn over once but went to 2000rpm and shut immediately off....about half the times i started it though it sounds like it wants to turn over so bad but just needs an extra kick.

also i heard that there is now an 8 year warranty for the rx8s but how does that apply to all mazdas. like does that apply to the new ones or to any car. if it applies to my 04 can someone show me a mazda link that says that so i can call a mazda dealership.

but heres what i tried.....1)pushing the gas pedal in with clutch. wont turn over. than tried just clutch. wont turn over. 2)took out the fuse for the fuel pump and tried same procedure as step one. wont turn over. 3)tried many times more (10x) 4)my car is over the warranty period of 48 months and dont know what to do. so i can try and get the sparks with one arm if there is a walkthrough for this but im not really in the condition too do this though

can anyone help. yes i realize it sounds flooded but im also looking for other answers.

38k = still under warranty so have MAZDA check it out..they tried saying i flooded the car but i was sure that it wasn't that because my battery and sparks were good so then they towed my 8 to the dealership for free and i got my engine replaced

2 things wrong here..

your cars powertrain warranty is 5yr/60k - that was extended 2 years back.

then there is an ADDITIONAL engine core warranty.. that is 8yr/96k..

you don't need any sort of documentation.. your car is covered.. unless the warranty was voided for something the previous owner did.
