LS2 coil mis-fire (D514)
Hello guys back again with the misfire.
Ok, first off i bought the conversion harness on ebay, I also bought LS2 spark plug wires from Race Roots and also brand new D514 coils, New Ngk plugs.
My Car
2008 RX8
AP pulley
Ap full exhaust
MS intake
Cobb AP
ACT 6 Puck
So when i use my stock coils with the Ls2 wire the car runs fine and revs up all the way high. Then when I try using the Ls2 coil pack it miss fires and bogs alot between 2-3k RPM and slowly smooth out but revs are slow. I got some videos
I also tried adjusting the dwell, I got the tables from Team's post it helped a little but still bogs crazy and misfires.
Please help been trying to solve this problem for months

are you sure Team's dwell was for the 514s? I thought the only tables we had posted were for the truck D585 coils.
Clearly this doesn't help, but why would you choose the D514s over the D585s?

I know it was for d585 dwell but i figured why not give it a try. Idk i made a dumb mistake. So i found out one coil was bad and not firing. I used a spark plug tester from orielys. I replaced it with a new spare. Now all coils are firing but still bogging i dont get it gahhh

What is the resistance rating on your wires? I don't know what the stock coils pull but the 514s are like 40mA and the 585s are some insanely high number in comparison like 120mA.
Perhaps there's too much resistance on the lines for there to be a good consistent signal. Stock wires would likely alleviate this if you're not already using them.... otherwise I dunno.
