Lots of Smoke!!

Hi everyone, new poster so be kind!!, i have recently bought an RX8, went on holiday for 3 weeks, came home to find a flat battery?!?, changed battery thought i'd take it out so put oil in....

As i was driving the car became spluttery and a massive amount of blueish/white smoke was bellowing out of the exhaust?, i've searched google and the forums and cant find a definitive answer for my probs??!..

Any help much appreciated!!!

haha kidding

you could of flooded the car if you let it sit for that long and your battery was dead
rotors might not of had the time to turn over as the battery was not strong enough ,

check your spark plugs they might be fooled

could be major if keeps doing it start the car often dont let it sit for 3 weeks, let it warm up at least 5 minutes everytime before shutting down , and keep an eye on the oil levels

i would still check the spark plugs in case

If it sat around for 3 weeks, why did you top off the oil? Did you top it off cold, or 5 minutes after warming it up?

Bad dog now rub your nose in it. Let it get to operating temperature, shut it off, wait 5 minutes, and check the dip stick.

Exactly how much did you put in?

had the same problem a while back. blue smoke usually means oil leak black is fuel. I just drove it off, and it was gone within a 5 mile drive. usually if you let it sit a while that will happen
