Hello friends,

Just hit 60k miles and started to hear noises from the rear end. It sounds like it's coming from the differential area or rear end in general. Whenever I let off the gas I hear a light clunk coming from behind me. Anyone have a general idea what it might be? Sorry for being so vague but I'm really stumped.

I haven't had time to put it on a lift but i will try as soon as possible.

loose shock, endlink, sway, would be the most likely culprits..

but at 60 k miles you should be thinking about replacing shocks anyway..

The OP started a new thread to report the reason for the clunk. You can read his other post, but as I recall, it was a missing brake caliper bolt.
