Light Clunk coming from rear end
 

Hello friends,

Just hit 60k miles and started to hear noises from the rear end. It sounds like it's coming from the differential area or rear end in general. Whenever I let off the gas I hear a light clunk coming from behind me. Anyone have a general idea what it might be? Sorry for being so vague but I'm really stumped.

I haven't had time to put it on a lift but i will try as soon as possible.

loose shock, endlink, sway, would be the most likely culprits..

but at 60 k miles you should be thinking about replacing shocks anyway..

Universal joint?

The OP started a new thread to report the reason for the clunk. :sad: You can read his other post, but as I recall, it was a missing brake caliper bolt.:eek:
