Stock VFAD question/ lost part

I run my RX8 in STX for SCCA and I had to remove my AEM intake before competition due to class rules. My issue is I lost the VFAD vacuum canister that clips on the back of the intake box. Can I run bulk vacuum hose with a 1 way check valve to the junction on the other side of the stock intake box?

I doubt it would make sense to not use the VFAD, but if I would see better gains by not running it let me know, then I won't even bother trying to find a canister or route hose a different way.

Any insight would be great, thanks

If you can run without it, run without it, or leave the door open. Do that by not connecting the vacuum. If you still have the plumbing in front of the radiator, I would do it that way. You want as little of the air as possible running through the long hose (I call it the air intake heater).
