Does this matter? Broken bolt for exhaust manifold stay
While removing the transmission of my 2004 MT, I broke one of the three bolts that secures the "exhaust manifold stay," which is a like a bracket between the transmission and the exhaust manifold. The broken one is on the side where there is only a single bolt, i.e. on the exhaust manifold. I've nearly got the car back together and now I'm feeling particularly lazy...
Does this thing matter much? What would happen if I didn't drill out and replace that bolt, and just leave that part off?
