Greddy turbo owners - Make sure you fit your blocking plate !

Definitely get the turbo balanced professionally.
A few other comments on rebuilding the turbo. I'd recommend swapping out the stock 12 blade turbine to an 11 blade as it'll improve high rpm performance without impacting spool. Note that there's also a 9 blade wheel available for this turbo. It's the ducks nuts as it spools and flows way better than the 11 and 12 blades (think EFR). However, they're prone to blowing apart because of all the material they removed from it to get the weight down. I personally wouldn't go with the 9 blade for this reason.
During the rebuild, you may choose to swap out the stock 57(ish) trim compressor wheel for a 60-1 or Garrett GTX 76mm wheel (very similary to 60-1, but slightly better) if available. This loses some spool up at low rpm, but gains a bit of top end. Personally I think the 57 trim is best for drivability, particularly when paired with the 11 blade turbine wheel, but choose whatever suits you best. Either way, make sure the compressor wheel is billet.
