I have left a few voicemails to Chris at Esmeril racing and email to Mazdaparts.com in regard of its Esmeril turbo kit. I have been waiting the response ever since. Just wonder, does anyone in forum actually get the production version of Esmeril racing kit? How easy is it on DIY? Any link of its instruction? Does anyone install one? Please advice.

I can tell you thats its going to be very easy, for a turbo kit.
removing the manifold is going to be difficult no matter what kit you are putting in, bolts could be frozen. Other stuff is routed pretty straightforward, nothing is cramped in there like other turbo kits.
If you can put an intake on your car or an exhaust then you should be just fine.
As for instructions, no. read the esmeril thread and your questions will be answered.

It claims very simple installation. If I get it, I have to know how easy it is before hand.
It is simple for a relatively mechanically skilled people.
If you are that way, and know, and not afraid to pop the hood on your car and start removing trays, taking off exhaust header and other such stuff, then it is a simple install, if you don't know how to do that, i suggest you leave the install to the pros.
Looking at what you are asking and how, I don't think you are much familiar with taking your car apart on your own. If you were mechanically inclined, you'd be able to tell how hard/easy it is to do by just looking ad the parts in the photo of the kit.
My guess is, with or without instructions, it may not be something you wanna do on your own in the garage over the weekend.
The Esmeril Kit comes with upgraded injectors and a new fuel pump. If you don't know what you are doing don't attempt to install it yourself. You don't want a leaking fuel system!!!
1. pop the hood
2. remove stock intake
3. remove battery
4. remove all the rest of the **** in there that may be in the way while you are at it.
5. remove the front bumper
6. remove the exhaust header
7. remove the air pump (or not, i can't remember, but i think this was discussed)

16. install manifold

Hello,
I actually changed phones this past weekend and I some trouble with the new one. I didn't get it working until last night. Also the mazdaparts.com website was down for maintenance for a few days too so that could explain why Jason hadn't gotten back to you. My number is the same as listed on the Esmeril website, feel free to call again and I will gladly answer your questions. Thanks for the interest.

Chris
Thanks Chris. I got your reply. I have another question though. If I get the pre-order kit without EMU, how much does it cost to upgrade to EMU kit? Thanks.

We actually recommend that you get the Int-X if you get the non EMU kit. It offers more control over the engine and is therefore safer to run. The EMU kit is a solution for people that have extensive experience with the EMU and feel comfortable tuning with it. It requires very careful tuning and monitoring.
Int-X triggers CEL or something. I thought EMU will eliminate this issue.

I read the thread from MM. He can only achieve a few cycle without CEL. Is it doable without CEL at all?
