My headlights are yellow and extremely hazy. I know some of it is outside but also the last time I went through a car wash I could see where the soapy water got inside as well.

The tail lights both get moisture inside of them...

suggestions?

The back tail lights might have a bad seal or one ur light connections isnt in all the way...one way to find out is getting a water hose and spraying ur trunk just a bit and see if any water gets in......

Re-seal the front headlight with automotive goop if the leak is in-between the lens cover and back housing.......

You did not mention a year or model but judging by your discription of the condition of the head and tail lights I would say, "replace them". The next problem you can expect is electrical.

I just love the dumb suggestions by noob "experts".

The leaking tailights are a known problem. There are DIY fixes. There's an improved seal set available Tail Light Gasket Repair Kit . Plenty of solutions. Search.

Ok so since you for some reason have some personal issue with me after only being a member for a few weeks, i can only say this. This is a community forum, not a place where someone who has nothing better to do than log on and look for someone to one-up on while at the same time making sure to give reason why your opinions and ideas should be agreed with instead. Seriously you could have simply said " the leaking taillights are a known problem. There are DIY fixes. There's an improved seal set available, plenty of solutions". But you had to just make sure we all know you think i am some "expert noob" as you say. Where the hell did i ever call myself an expert? I work on cars, you work on cars or at the least your own car. The level of expertise between two strangers should mean nothing. I have been on many different car forums for many years and honestly you are the kind of person who makes people not want to stay involved, you should be ashamed of yourself.

I wouldn't have suggested to buy new. That is not always the best solution, but most often the expensive solution. I would have PM'd sweettexazgirl how to fix it. (you can pm me, op).
HiFlite probably wrote that because sweettexazgirl was asking for help and you supported the suggested to buy new/ the only thing that should probably be bought is a new gasket(s) for the tail lamp. The other suggestions to check if the lights are fastened enough is good. I have gone through the fish bowl tail lamp problem as many others have, it is a pretty easy fix, time consuming to do properly, and relatively cheap.

Toothpaste has a very mild abrasive in it, same as using any other polish, just a bit less abrasive.

As far as it goes for headlights, you can fix them on your own or pay someone to do it for you.

You start of with P500 sandpaper until you remove all the flaws on the headlight, then go with P800 to remove the flaws from the P500. After that you go with P1000 sandpaper by using water, followed by P3000 also by using water. As finishing touch you can use polish paste for plastic, e.g. 3M Headlight Lens Restoration System 39008

I'm sure you can find tutorials on youtube as well. If your headlight is also "yellowish" on the inside, maybe you can cut sponge in tiny pieces, add detergent and water and just shake it. Of course, that means if you can remove all the electrics from the headlight.
