berrr niceeee. Question for you, now that winters coming i was going to get a detailer to do an all out detail on my car (remove swirls etc etc) but im very low on cash lately and will wait till spring. So what i did was just did a quick detail for mine claybar , wash then i put 2 coats of meguiars nxt on her. Do you think thatll be enough to protect her through the winter ??

Thanks! I would say you'd get a solid two to three months from the NXT. It has a pretty nice shine but as far as protection, it doesn't last too long unfortunately. My typical process is to use Meguiar's Carnauba Cleaner paste, followed by Meguiar's Gold Glass Carnauba Plus paste, and I've seen protection for up to about five months with the proper care. Your best bet for "winterizaton" would be to clay the car and apply a sealant instead of wax, which can last up to a year.

I'm actually running a special now for winter prep which includes: wash, clay bar body and wheels, Menzerna Power Lock sealant, carnauba wax, wheel wax, tire dressing, and spray wax applied to door jambs. Add interior quick detail and/or engine bay detail for $40 each. Also, if customers book their Exterior Winter Prep along with a spring clean up they receive $30 off each.

If you're using dish soap, get the plain blue Dawn. Not sure what people's obsession with Zaino is, but if you like the results and working with the product then go for it.

I believe you'll have to remove the wax first.
