Though my recommendation will be perceived as a biased one (and I wouldn't deny this, but I think that I might speak from a relative position of knowledge on the subject), I HIGHLY recommend against either of the GReddy units as engine management for the RX-8.

Depending on where you live, the Cobb AccessPORT is going to be the best option if your model is supported (most are, with the exception of some JDM and AUDM models).

thanks a lot for your advice Jeff.I leave in cyprus and allmost nobody here is fammiliary with the cobb, nobodi knows to tune it...my car is a JDM model 5 speed to be exactly......here the guys who tune cars they are not fammiliary with rx8,and as power upgrades are strictly forbbiden here, nobody tunes them, they are playng only with evo, subaru and rx7 witch by the way they are only 71 cars in all the country,so for that i dont trust no tuner to tune it as they have no experience to tune my car,and they will just try to.....aaaa and by the way the quote to tune an emenage around here is arond 500 euros.....,so now you maybe understand why i want a pretuned unit

Pre-tuned doesn't work. I'm sure if the car is supported Jeff can help you tune it remotely for way less than that

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I can help you out.
Is your car a European model or JDM?
What year and is it "hi-power" or "lo-power" (6-port or 4-port)?

Aah. Unfortunately. the "lo-power" (4-port) JDM models are NOT supported.

I've got a bunch of them sitting around (though not a 4-port harness).
I would be reticent to sell them to be used for their designed purpose.

That said, I have found a genuinely useful purpose for them as a diagnostic device.

I'll have a thread about that later.
